1938 Elgin Robin

From barn find to beauty! This bike was listed on Craigslist and came out of a barn/shed in Michigan. It’s a mix of a distressed restoration and some original paint–mostly the frame and fenders. While removing the blue and yellow, I couldn’t save any of the white. The white seemed ‘softer’ and no matter how slow I went, I couldn’t save it. I measured all the white graphics from what I had and repainted them, then distressed to match the rest of the bike. There are still traces of blue and yellow under the fenders, but I just left it. I was really pleased the way it came out.
