1939 Firestone Flying Ace

by Dave Stromberger · February 14, 2001

This Firestone Flying Ace has a tank that is integrated into the top bar of the frame. One of very few bikes to ever incorporate the tank in this way, the Elgin Bluebird is another. This bicycle has a Dayton style chainguard which is incorrect. It should have the “3-rib” Firestone chainguard.
