1942 Columbia Sports Tourist
This base model lightweight bicycle is typical of the bicycles sold in America during WW2. Lack of chrome plating in areas where it is usually seen was due to restrictions in manufacturing during the war. The chain guard on this bicycle is an aftermarket addition, but is period correct and probably has been on the bike since it was new. See the attached brochure pages for more information.
