1937 Firestone Fleetwood Supreme
When was the last time you saw a Super-Streamline Huffman with original paint? This Seafoam Green 1937 Firestone Fleetwood Supreme bicycle belongs to Alan Schmit. It features mostly original paint, with the tank and head tube restored by Dave Stromberger at www.nostalgic.net. The restored portion of the paint was distressed to match the rest of the bike. The bike features an original leather Mesigner long spring saddle, Firestone High-Speed whitewall tires, EA torpedo headlight, Persons marble tombstone reflector and 9-hole chromed rear carrier. These bikes really show off the streamline art-deco styling of the mid-late 1930’s. Huffman manufactured these bikes under several different brand names including Dayton, LaFrance, Dixie Flyer, and several others. Each brand featured its own selection of colors and equipment differences.
