The bike of the month for July, 2005 is Marc Phisterer’s 1939 Huffman built Firestone Twin-Flex bicycle, with its original paint still intact! Notice the dual suspension on this bike, sprung in the front and rear! Unusual to this bike, is the chainguard which ordinarly was not used on the Firestone models, but was standard on Twinflex bikes under other brand names. This bike even has Firestone brand whitewalls! What a great looking bike, with the optional chrome plating on the horn-tank, and the polished aluminum headlight. Nice bike Marc!
