1938 Elgin Special
This model is not mentioned in Sears catalogs, but is very similar to some that are, but this one is equipped with truss rods and aluminum fenders. The front fender is mounted on top of the fork in the same fashion as those on the Twin-Bar bicycles. Not all of these came with aluminum fenders.
