1936 Hawthorne Zep

by Dave Stromberger · July 8, 2001

A 1936 Hawthorne Zep owned by Ed Kann is this months Bicycle of the Month. This art-deco beauty has some of the finest chrome work I have ever seen. The paint (done by Dave at nostalgic.net) is done to factory specs in black and white, with red pinstriping (which is hard to see in the pictures). This is one fine machine, and was the pride of the Hawthorne line up in 1936.
