1937 – 1938 Monark Silver King Wingbar
An outstanding example of an original Monark Silver King “Wingbar” model M-137. Nicknamed the Wingbar because of the art-deco wing design sculpted into the top bar of the aluminum frame. Original paint remains intact on the fenders. The chrome plated horn-light and teardrop shaped tail-light are hard to find pieces often missing from these bikes. The leather Troxel tool-box saddle has a compartment that opens on the back for storage of tools. Notice the very cool speedometer mounted inside the goose neck! These were very unique bicycles in their time and are very interesting to look at. They are highly sought after by collectors today.
